Donald Trump Early life Childhood and Education

Donald John Trump was born on 14 th June 1946 in Queens, New York City, United States. Donald Trump was the fourth of five children of Frederick C. and Mary MacLeod Trump. Mr. Frederick Trump was a builder and real estate developer, he specialized in constructing and operating middle-income apartments in Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn. Donald Trump was an energetic, assertive child, Donald’s parents sent him to the New York Military Academy when he was 13 years old, his parents hoping that the discipline of the Military Academy would channel Donald’s energy in a positive manner.

Donald showed well performance at the academy, in both field social and academically. He was rising to become a star athlete and student leader during this time. Donald graduated in 1964. After completing his graduation, he entered Ford-ham University and two years later, he transferred to the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania, he graduated from this university in 1968 with a degree in economics. During his college era, he secured education deferments for the Vietnam War draft and finally a 1-Y medical deferment after Donald graduated.

Trump married Ivana Zelnickova Winklmayr in 1977, she was a New York fashion model, and she had been an alternate on the 1972 Czech Olympic Ski Team. The couple had three children Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. In 1992 the couple called off their marriage when Ivana found Donald’s extra-marital love affair with an American actress Marla Maples.

In 1993 Donald Trump married Marla Maples and they had one child, in 1993 Tiffany was born two months before their marriage. Donald filed for a highly publicized divorce in 1997 with Maples which was finalized in June 1999. The Prenuptial agreement allotted $2 million to Marla Maples.

Trump married for the third time on 22 January 2005, he married Slovenian model Melania Knauss at Bethesda by the Sea Episcopal Church, on the beautiful Island of Palm Beach, Florida, the highly publicized and lavish wedding. Melania is more than twenty years junior to him. At their wedding among the many celebrity guests, Hillary Clinton and Former President of the USA Bill Clinton also attended their wedding. In March 2006, she gave birth to their son Barron William Trump.

Donald Trump’s Business Career

Donald followed his father in a career in real estate development, during the summer he worked with his father and then joined his father’s company, the name of the company is Elizabeth Trump & Son. The company focused on middle-class rental housing. Trump is deeply involved in the company. He was now able o finance an expansion of the company’s holdings, for this purpose he convinced his father to be more liberal in the utilization of loans based on the equity in Trump apartment complexes. Actually, the business was competitive and the margins of the profit were less.

Donald Trump took the charge of the company in 1971, he later renamed the company as Trump Organization. Trump also shifted his residence to Manhattan, where he started to generate important connections with influential people. Trump became a joint partner with NBC-National Broadcasting Company in 2003, where Trump became the producer and host of the reality show NBC, ‘The Apprentice’ which became a huge success. Trump co-produced a show following its success, ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ he worked along with Mark Burnett the British TV producer.

On 21 October 2004, Donald Trump Hotels and Casino & Resorts declared a restricting of its debt, and it caused to reduction in Donald’s individual ownership from 56% to 27%. Trump’s association with the ‘Birther issue, a group that strongly believed that Barack Obama was not born in the United States, disparaged his political status and reputation. But Trump continued to be against Barack Obama on different political issues.

In 2013, Trump endorsed Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu during the elections in Israel. Trump was also a featured speaker at the 2013 CPAC- Conservative Political Action Conference.
