Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born on 7th July 1981 at Ranchi, Bihar (in present Jharkhand) located in the east corner of India. He is commonly known as M.S. Dhoni, he has different nicknames in the cricket world. He studied at DAV Jawar Vidya Mandir, Ranchi, Jharkhand, where Dhoni was initially interested in Badminton and football. He was selected at the district and club levels for these sports. For his football team, he was a goalkeeper, and for a local cricket club, he was sent to play cricket by his football coach. Early Career of MS Dhoni
