Ahmed Shehzad Domestic Career

On 24th January 2007, Ahmed Shehzad made his first-class debut for Lahore Shalimar in the city of Lahore. In limited overs domestic cricket he plays for Lahore Lions. In June 2011 during the Faisal Bank T20 Super Eights Ahmed was the top scorer he made 74 runs at 47 deliveries imposing a mammoth total of 218 runs against Sialkot Stallions, Shehzad also took 2 catches and one wicket, and he was rewarded with the title of man of the match for his outstanding performance in this match.

Ahmed Shehzad played for different clubs in their domestic career including Habib Bank Limited, Lahore Shalimar, and Lahore Eagles. He also played for the U-9 squad. Ahmed Shehzad was the top scorer in the 2016-17 Departmental One Day Cup, he scored 653 runs, including the best score in his career in list A cricket, his best score in the semi-final was 166 runs. T20 International Debut

Ahmed Shehzad made his T20 International debut against Australia on the same tour, in this T20 he failed to impress with his performance which wasn’t good. Despite a failure in this T20 series against Australia, Ahmed was selected for the Pakistan cricket team in the 2009 ICC World T20. In this world cup, he played only one match against England. Pakistan won that world T20 match.

In 2010 Ahmed was recalled for a tour to New Zealand, his performances in this tour were outstanding, he played T20Is and One Day Internationals and scored his maiden T20I half-century and ODI centuries.
