Home series against India on December 2013, Quinton scored 135 runs against India in his home ground in Johannesburg, his great innings led his team to a 14-run victory, and Quinny was awarded his first ever “Man of The Match” title in ODI cricket. Quinny was giving a great performance with another successive ODI ton in the upcoming next match in Durban against India. Quinton made 106 runs and made a record-breaking opening of 194 runs in Durban with fellow player Hashim Amla, who also scored a century in that match.
